ANETRA GAINES-Founder & President, MA, LPC, CRC, CAADC, A.R.T. Trained
Anetra Gaines is a master’s level Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Her passion is helping clients appreciate themselves in the present as they work to become the person they desire to be.
Anetra collaborates with her clients to deepen self-understanding, develop skills to adjust to life’s constant changes, and increase overall confidence.
Anetra is a self-proclaimed nerd who loves reading, listening to public radio, and old school.
Anetra is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.).

Willows Edge Counseling and Arts Center
Willows Edge and its team of counselors, is a counseling agency that uses traditional counseling and the creative arts to help clients grow and heal.
Services include art therapy, music therapy, animal therapy, and reiki.
Owner, Karen Smigelski is a master’s level LPC, a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), Reiki I & II, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) Advanced Trained.
What started as a workshop blossomed into opportunities to help. She says, “Counseling is very powerful, and I discovered that the more ways I gave clients to express themselves, the better I could help them find the healing they sought. We believe that everyone deserves access to mental healthcare and do everything we can to make our services available to anyone.”
Gaines Insight Counseling also provides services at all three Willows Edge locations.
